An all new series of gentle poses that will be an easy, effective, and enjoyable addition to your yoga routine. This program is more challenging than the Yoga For The Rest of Us video, but is still appropriate for seniors and persons with physical limitations. These gentle yoga routines are done with the use of a chair for extra safety.
"Peggy Cappy has a marvelously gentle, yet powerful, way of engaging the viewer/practitioner and then clearly demonstrating each pose. If you have purchased "Yoga for the Rest of Us", this is the perfect companion piece to round out your daily practice!"— Beth Morley
MORE Yoga for the Rest of Us is structured in the same format that made the first video so easy to do. This video also has three segments that can be done one at a time or all at once for a longer workout.
Part 1 starts on the floor with a series of stretches that are extremely beneficial for your lower back.
Part 2 is a new series of standing poses that will increase your leg strength and one of the most important physical skills of all--your balance.
Part 3 is a guided relaxation with Peggy's gentle voice leading you through a series of "tense and release movements" that will leave you feeling rested and renewed.
The poses have been modified for the use of a chair if you feel you need it. One member of the class does each pose in the classical way without a chair so that as you can see the unmodified pose.
It is not necessary to have done Yoga for the Rest of Us before doing MORE Yoga for the Rest of Us. The yoga on both has been modified for beginners. Peggy developed the second video with the same guiding principle as the original video--that you should have yoga that you can do.
MORE Yoga for the Rest of Us also contains the documentary used on TV. The documentary includes interviews of students and footage of a class session.
